Game Hire at King Power Stadium, Leicester

King Power Stadium is one of the easier venues we work in, and the reason is unglamorous: free parking, level access on every floor, and a shared lounge sitting right between the two biggest suites. If you're running a conference or a party here and wondering where the entertainment goes, that combination answers most of the question before you've asked it. Fun Pro supplies interactive games, arcade machines and photo booths into events at the stadium. We don't hire out the venue; that's handled by the stadium's own conference and events team.

We're based in Coventry, around half an hour down the M69, which makes Leicester one of our closest cities. In practice that means lower delivery costs and more room to move if your plans shift late on.

About King Power Stadium as an Events Venue

The stadium sits on Filbert Way beside the River Soar, roughly a mile from Leicester railway station and a few minutes from the M1 and M69. East Midlands Airport is under 20 miles away.

For events, there are nine conference suites plus 43 executive boxes and two TV studios, taking up to 650 attendees in a single room or 1,150 across the two largest suites combined. The spaces sit across three floors, all of them fully accessible with natural daylight and air conditioning, and on-site parking comes free with your booking. Suites at King Power Stadium and the Games That Suit Them

Walkers Hall and the Keith Weller Lounge

These are the two big rooms on Level One. Walkers Hall takes 650 theatre-style, 450 cabaret or 600 for dinner, with wall-mounted screens throughout. The Keith Weller Lounge handles 500 theatre-style or 450 for dinner and has a 14 square metre video wall, which makes it the more presentation-led of the pair. Both can be hired together for up to 1,150 guests. There's real floor area here, so larger equipment works: racing simulators, Grab A Grand and banks of arcade machines all suit an awards evening or festive party at this scale.

The Reception Lounge

Worth singling out. The Reception Lounge is a shared space sitting between Walkers Hall and the Keith Weller Lounge, with fixed informal seating and a working bar, holding 150 theatre-style or 180 standing. Because it's the room people drift into during breaks, it's usually the smartest place to put entertainment during a conference. Nobody has to be told where the games are; they walk past them. Compact upright games work best given the fixed seating: Batak Lite, Plinko or a Prize Wheel.

Level Two: Premier Lounges, Champions Club and Rowley Suite

Premier Lounge 1 and 2 are mirror-image rooms taking 80 each, divided by a soundproof partition or opened up as one. The Champions Club has its own reception and bar and does 80 cabaret or 108 for dinner. The Rowley Suite is the smallest at 50 theatre-style, with three fixed booths built in. Space here is measured rather than generous, so a single well-placed game is usually the right call. Shuffleboard and other pub games suit the Champions Club's bar area particularly well.

Level Three: Banks Lounge, The Gallery and Executive Boxes

The Banks Lounge takes 150 theatre-style or 140 for dinner with views over the River Soar, and The Gallery holds 90 with views straight onto the pitch. Both are workable for a compact game or two. The 43 executive boxes seat 12 and are genuinely too small for our equipment, so if your day spreads across boxes, put the games in the Banks Lounge or The Gallery and let people come to them.

What Fun Pro Handles, and What We Don't

What we handle:

• Delivering to the stadium on your event date and getting the games to the right floor
• Setting up, testing and safety-checking before your attendees arrive
• Running the games throughout with our own staff, not sub-contractors
• Packing down and collecting at the agreed time

What we don't handle:

• Suite hire, room allocation or floor plans, which the stadium's events team manages
• Catering, per-person day packages, bar service or AV
• Matchday hospitality or stadium tours
• Storing equipment on site between event days, unless agreed in advance

Planning Entertainment for a King Power Stadium Event

Matchdays are the main thing to work around. The stadium isn't available in the usual way when there's a fixture on, and access windows either side can tighten up. Confirm your date against the fixture list early with the events team and we'll plan delivery to whatever they set.

Beyond that, this is a straightforward venue. All three floors are accessible with lift access, so getting equipment upstairs isn't the obstacle it is at some stadiums, though lift dimensions still cap the largest items. Tell us your suite when you enquire and we'll confirm what fits.

The free on-site parking genuinely helps. It means we can unload without a timed window hanging over us, which in turn means we can arrive earlier and take more care over positioning. Not every Leicester venue offers that.

On lead times, four to six weeks is comfortable for busy periods, particularly the Christmas party season when the big suites fill up. Smaller bookings can often be arranged with around two weeks' notice, and because we're only half an hour away we can sometimes help closer to the day than that. Branded games need longer, since design and print happen in-house.

Coventry to Filbert Way is about 25 miles down the M69, so we're often on site well ahead of schedule. Delivery, setup and collection are included in your quote rather than added on.
